Overview
Astro Live is a platform that connects users with professional astrologers for live consultations and personalized spiritual guidance. It was launched as a sub-product of Chingari
The goal of this Project was to enable first-time users to seamlessly book and join video calls with astrologers, ensuring a frictionless experience from discovery to consultation. Since the sessions were paid, the user flow had to prioritize clarity, trust, and ease of use to drive conversions.
I began by understanding the users through research insights and analyzing competitor products to identify common patterns in astrology consultation experiences. This helped me define the user expectations, pain points, and motivations when booking a session. Based on these insights, I created a user persona representing a first-time user and mapped out their journey—from discovering an astrologer to completing a consultation—ensuring a smooth and intuitive flow at every step.
To create a simple and intuitive video call experience for first-time users, I first mapped the user flow, ensuring clarity at each step. After gathering feedback from designers and engineers, I refined the flow and translated it into mid-fidelity wireframes using components from our design system, maintaining consistency and scalability.
We then tested the wireframes, gathered insights, and iterated on the designs based on the results. Once finalized, I created the high-fidelity designs and handed them over to the developer team, ensuring a smooth implementation.
